Rianna has been involved in theatre, music, and fine arts since she was little. She attended The University of Minnesota-Duluth where she received a BA in Theatre with a minor in Anthropology and a Museum Studies Certificate.

During her time at UMD she worked on multiple UMD mainstage productions, along with productions produced by the UMD student-run theatre company, Stage 2. Her technical roles have ranged from costume designing, to wig/hair and makeup designing, and to directing two student shows and assistant directing a mainstage production.

Since graduation, Rianna has primarily worked with the Minnesota Ballet as an assistant stage manager, sound board operator, and costume technician.
